Day 4 – Part II

From Medias, by car towards Sibiu, on DN 14.

Part of this road (till Copsa Mica) we did on bikes three days ago.

Now it was a strange feeling and a regret because we were inside the car and not on the bikes.

Before Sibiu ring road, there is a village called Slimnic, with an interesting top hill citadel.

Some ruins from a citadel to be more exactly

From outside.

This was the cycling tour.

Short, sometimes on the run, but still interesting.

If someone has any question, please fell free to ask.

It would be really helpful for other cyclists to navigate if you can plot these trails on separate routes on BikeMap. Add the landmarks you visited and the places to rest and eat.

How much did you spend on this journey? Approximate figures will do; foreigners need to get an idea on what they should expect to pay for.

@ puterfixer

I'm kind of an old fashion guy.

I use the clasical paper map, instead of GPS, BikeMap and other high tech stuff.

That's why I wrote the road number.

With Google Maps it's pretty easy to follow the route we did.

Regarding the landmarks we visited, I've post some pictures and (at most of them) a Wikipedia link.

Who want to know more about those places has enough posibilities to find out.

I did like this because to many words mean a boring story.

And a picture equals one thousand words.

Regarding the accomodation price, in Medias and Tarnaveni was 120 Lei (little less than 30 Euros) and in Blaj was 100 Lei (little less than 25 Euros).

All accomodation prices were per night, for a double room with breakfast included.

I've also post the accomodation websites.

I don't remeber how much we spend for the whole journey.
