I'm unable to start a new topic, so I'll post the information here. This year we decided to organize both a marathon and XCO. First is the marathon on 25th of August 2013.

REGULATIONS FOR A MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE

CROSS COUNTRY MARATHON (XCM)

LOCATION:

The race will be held on 25.08.2013 (Sunday) in the town of Shumen with the start and finish point Yeldaz Tabia at Shumensko Plateau (location on Googlemaps)

 

PROGRAM OF THE RACE

 

24.08.2013 SATURDAY

 

17:00-20:00 Registration and taking the race numbers. Location: Bistro Boidi (Bistro Boidi on Google maps)

 

25.08.2013 SUNDAY

 

07:00  – briefing

07:15 – mass start Yeldaz Tabia at Shumensko Plateau (location on Googlemaps)

15:00 – award ceremony at Yeldaz Tabia at Shumensko Plateau (location on Googlemaps)

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Every rider must:
• wear protection helmet and gloves;
• have working bike and brakes; have spare tires and pump
• have an insurance for the race day
• not pollute the nature park
• only for the juniors under 18: declaration of consent signed by the parent in front of the registering person or the team leader

AWARDS:
The riders will be awarded individually according to their age group. The winners of every group will receive gifts and/or medals.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE TRACK

                              

The race track for the marathon is 60 km long. The race track for the semimarathon  is 30 km long. The course is moderately difficult.

 

REGISTRATION FEE:
Every rider pays a registration fee of 10 BGN with online registration until 20.08.2013 and 15 BGN without online registration.
