Nu stiu poveste indicatorului spre Istanbul. Cred ca cel mai bine ne-ar putea lamuri un constantean.

Oricum, imi face placere sa-l vad de fiecare data cand trec prin Constanta, venind dindpre Navodari.

Daca nu ma insel, Turkish Airlines are doua curse pe saptamana intre Constanta si Istanbul.

In anul 1860 Dobrogea inca era provincie otomana, iar ca fapt divers, calea ferata Constanta - Cernavoda a fost prima cale ferata finalizata din Imperiul Otoman.

Foarte fain!

Interesantă remarca doamnei de la casa de bilete cu privire la limbile străine...cam trist, oricum.

Haioasă poza cu vagonul de deszăpezire pe care scria Titanic :D.

Legat de „tineretul progresist”...să îi vezi când îți devin colegi de serviciu, „supra-specializați” cu facultăți, masterate și chiar doctorate (!! la 25 de ani !!), dar ei nu știu absolut nimic (însă atitudinea față de ceilalți este de o aroganță greu de descris) iar în sala de mese sunt foarte gălăgioși (de, stau în turme..) și auzi, de la fete, remarci de genul „da, fă, dacă-ți zic...să mor!” în gura mare. Și da, în afară de „fesbuc”, pauze de țigară de 25 de minute la fiecare oră și „instagram” nu par a ști multe. Na, subiect cam complex și demoralizant :)

Concret, de la Petromidia se aducea cu camionul un fel de marmelada care odata descarcata era intinsa cu ajutorul unui excavator.
Apoi, marmelada respectiva era amesteca un un rezid lichid provenit de la spalarea pieselor de avion de la aeroportul M. Kogalniceanu.
Produsul final era apoi transportat la fabrica de ciment din Medgidia si folosit drept combustibil pentru furnalale pentru ciment.
Sau cel putin asa mi-a spus un mosulet care era paznic.


Din vorba in vorba, am aflat ca mosuletul a lucrat la Canal, ca excavatorist pe un excavator EKG 5 [detalii mai tarziu despre utiliaj].


Despre amploarea lucrarilor "nu-i apa in Canal cata motorina s-a cosumat la constructie".
Despre conditiile de lucru "munceam 12 ore pe zi, 7 zile pe saptamana, dormeam vreo 5-6 ore pe noapte".
Despre salariu "castigam 17.000 [saptesprezece mii] lei pe luna". Din cate stiu, pe atunci, un salariu de 3-4.000 lei era considerat OK.

Tot de la acest mosulet am aflat ca aproximativ 60% din apa din canalalele dobrogene este asigurata de izvoare subterane.

Mosuletul paznic, fost excavatorist, mi-a spus ca erau niste utilaje foarte fiabile si rezistente, singura lor problema fiind consumul mare de energie electrica [aceste excavatoare erau electrice].
Probabil un alt minus era faptul ca aceste excavatoare aveau nevoie si de o retea electrica care sa avanseze odata cu santierul.

În Mamaia s-a construit foarte mult. Cel mai tare mi s-a părut faptul că un bloc care odată avea vedere la mare acum are vedere doar la blocul vecin.

Probabil cei mai fericiţi sunt proprietrii din blocul din spate.

În rest nimic deosebit prin Mamaia, doar liniştea specifică perioadei de extra-sezon.

Altă pauză la OMV-ul de la intrarea în Constanţa pentru o cola şi un snickers, apoi până la gară nimic deosebit.

 

Parcă fostul primar Mazăre a avut idee amplasării acestor vapoare pe la majoritatea intrărilor în Constanţa şi nici piaţa gării nu face excepţie.

Mi se pare o idee interesantă să poţi admira vapoare prin oraş.

La casa de bilete nu a fost nicio problemă cu biletul pentru bicicletă.

Având în vedere că preţul biletului până la Medgidia era de 5,30 Lei n-am mai folosit cardul TrenPlus pentru o reducere de 25% (adică 1,32 Lei).

 

Am trecut puţin şi pe la cişmeaua din gară, însă nu prea am avut ce să curăt pentru că drumul a fost uscat.

 

Un automotor (dacă nu mă înşel seria 78) expus în capătul peronului gării din Constanţa.

Seara la Medgidia s-a încheiat cu încă o vizită la cârciuma “Tanţa şi Costel”, de data asta fără îngheţ.

 

Cam asta a fost Canalul Poarta Albă – Midia Navodari, varianta 2016.

Până data viitoare când ajung pe acolo, dacă are cineva vreo întrebare, cu cea mai mare plăcere.

Calea ferata Dorobantu - Navodari - Capul Midia (Sitorman), pe care o credeam de mult timp inchisa, este cat se poate de functionala, cel putin pentru traficul de marfa.

Am plecat din Bucureşti, cu bicicleta în tren până la Medgidia.

Mi-am luat bilet on-line doar pentru mine pentru că IR 1589 nu are vagon cu locuri speciale pentru biciclete.

M-am îngrozit puţin când am ajuns pe peron în gara de Nord datorită numărului mare de studenţi care merg gratis cu trenul, graţie pomenii oferite de guvernul comunist.

A trebuit să mă mârâi puţin cu doamna naşa, care pe bună dreptate mi-a spus că nu mă poate lăsa să urc cu bicicleta în tren având în vedere aglomeraţia existentă.

Am insistat asupra faptul că am deja biletul cumpărat,

În plus am avut noroc că ceillaţi călători care stăteau la ultimă uşă a trenului şi care au percutat imediat cu “lasaţi doamnă, că îi facem noi loc aici”. Printre acei călători era un fost deţinut, proaspăt eliberat din penitenciarul Arad care mergea până la Ciulniţa şi un englez care mergea la Constanţa.

 

La Ciulniţa s-a mai golit puţin trenul, la Feteşti atmosfera a devenit chiar relaxată iar la Cernavodă Pod chiar am fumat o ţigară pe peron cu domna naşă.

 

Din vorbă în vorbă cu acel enlgez am ajuns la filmul clasic de animaţie al lui Disney “101 Dalmaţieni” (cei mai bătrâni cu siguranţă îl ştiu).

Omu’ mi-a spus că pentru un britanic este ciudat să vadă acel film, deoarece câinii adulti vorbesc engleza britanică pe când puii vorbesc engleza americană.

Cazarea la Medgidia a fost la hotelul Livius, acolo unde am stat şi anii trecuţi (excepţie anul trecut). Fiind vineri seara, la restaurantul de la parter era (cred) o nuntă cu băieţi bronzaţi şi doamne cu fuste lungi. Nu a fost o problemă deoarece hotelul este foarte bine izolat fonic.

 

Fântâna arteziană din centrul Medgidiei funcţionează şi pe întuneric (spuma care se vede în poze nu cred că era în plan).

A urmat vizita obligatorie la cârciuma “Tanţa şi Costel” pentru o pizza şi o sticlă de Bănuţ (Riesling de Jidvei). Oamenii de la cârciumă am observat că au rămas consecvenţi, în sensul că într-o cârciumă din Medgidia nu există în menu vinuri din Dobrogea.

Cherhanaua Tasaul are mancare foarte buna (ciorba si carnati de peste am incercat eu si am fost incantat). E si plasata intr-un decor frumos, pe malul lacului, sub un pod feroviar.

Preturile sunt destul de mari, iar vara locul se aglomereaza (inclusiv cu copii, ca au si loc de joaca pe iarba, in curte). Pentru o seara in weekend, uneori e nevoie sa faci rezervare cu 2 zile inainte.
