Strada Bernauer a fost una dintre cele mai afectate străzi atunci când s-a construit Zidul, deoarece acesta trecea chiar pe acestă stradă, iar ferestele clădirilor dinspre Zid din Berlinul de Est au fost zidite.

Trebuie menţionat faptul că existau mai multe ziduri.

Unul dintre ele era zidul de graniţa, iar până la acest zid, pe partea RDG-istă mai există un zid.

Astfel se crea un fel de zonă tampon, presărată cu tot felul de obstacole si patrulată în permanentă de granicerii est-germani.

Se observă faptul că aici situaţia era mult mai relaxată şi orice se putea apropia de zid, că doar nu era nimeni nebun să fugă în RDG

De asemenea se observa acele puncte de observaţie în care orice se putea urca pentru a vedea ce se întâmplă în partea comunistă a Berlinului.

 

Chiar am văzut un film de propagandă RFG-ist de prin anii ’70, când zidul era obiectiv turistic pentru occidental.

Filmul începea când turiştii coborau din autobuz, îşi cumpărau o Coca-Cola la cutie apoi se urcau în acele puncte de observaţie.

Spre final, după ce se plictiseau de privit, aruncau cutia de Coca-Cola peste zid iar filmul se termina cu o gramdă de cutii goale de Coca-Cola în zona comunistă a Zidului.

Cum spuneam, la propagandă se pricepeau foarte bine şi nemţii RFG-işti. Mama lor de capitalisti.

În fotografiile de mai sus se poate vedea că trotuarele sunt foarte late, iar pistele pentru biciclete sunt pe trotuar. Chiar dacă nu e niciun biciclist în zonă, localnicii evită să pășească pe pistă.

Evita pentru ca baietii si fetele pe bicle sunt multi si trec "fara mila". :)

Pietonii sunt deja antrenati si intelegerea cu biciclistii e buna.

Pistele in Berlin sunt si pe strada, si pe trotuar, functie de situatie, si toate sunt functionale.

Ca si tine, prima senzatie a fost de uimire ca biciclistii si pietonii isi vad fiecare de treaba / pista lui.

Apoi mi-am dat seama ca asta este normalitatea si ca nu este nimic iesit din comun ca pietonii nu merg pe piste iar biciclistii nu merg pe trotuar.

 

Combina ceea ce ai vazut in pozele de mai sus cu un sistem de transport public aproape perfect si astfel ajungem la concluzia ca nemtii sunt niste idioti si au gandit un oras pentru oameni si nu pentru masini.

 

In rest, nu se pune problema de "pus in cap". Discutam la final despre ceea ce nu ti-a placut la Berlin.

 

 

Evita pentru ca baietii si fetele pe bicle sunt multi si trec "fara mila".

 

Cred ca s-a mai schimabat putin situatia.

Am vazut de cateva ori turisti (in special asiatici) rataciti pe pista de biciclete si mai mult de un claxon discret nu s-a intamplat nimic.

Am vazut chiar si cazuri in care biciclistii de pe pista opreau ca sa nu ii accidenteze pe turistii rataciti pe acolo.

 

 

Pistele in Berlin sunt si pe strada, si pe trotuar, functie de situatie, si toate sunt functionale.

 

Corect.

Chiar am citit pe undeva ca in Berlin ar fi cam 650 km de piste de bicicleta. Iar 650 km = distanta dintre Bucuresti si Satu Mare.

Cum spuneam, niste idioti.

Revenind la Blocada Berlinului despre care am vorbit mai sus.

Parte din alimentele cu care americanii i-au tinut in viata pe berlinezi [din Berlinul de Vest] timp de aproape un an.

Unul dintre cei mai cunoscuti participanti la salvarea Berlinului de Vest a fost pilotul american Gail Halvorsen.

Cunoscut si sub numele de "Candy Bomber".

Concret, in timpul Blocadei Berlinului omu' a avut ideea de a folosi niste mini-parasute de care erau legate bomboane si alte dulciuri, mini-parasute pe care le arunca inainte de aterizarea pe aeroportul Tempelhoff.

Pe langa bucuria pe care adus-o copiilor din oras, gestul lui Halvorsen a contribuit la ridicare moralului berlinezilor infometati.

O dioramă de vreo 5 ori mai mica faţă de cea din pozele de mai sus este expusă la Muzeul CFR din Bucureşti.

Printre altele, primele lucrări de la actualul aeroport Tegel (aflat în zona de ocupaţie franceză a Berlinului de Vest) au fost efectuate de aceste femei.

Bărbaţii cam lipseau, unii muriseră pe front iar altii erau în excursie în Uniunea Sovietică, excursie din care mulţi nu s-au mai întors.

Interesant este faptul că acele femei munceau în haine de gală şi pantofi cu toc, pentru simplul motiv că alte haine nu aveau.

 

În rest, în secţiunea de trenuri sunt expuse multe locomotive cu abur, însă modalitatea de expunere este cam înghesuită astfel încât nu prea merg fotografiate.

 

Cam asta a fost Muzeul Tehnic German, pentru că deja de la difuzoare se auzea, inclusiv în engleză, invitaţia către vizitatori de a se îndepta spre ieşire pentru că se apropia ora de închidere.

Se observa din pozele de mai sus ca in fata zidului exista un gard de sarma, pus acolo pentru protectia zidului.
Pe de o parte de-a lungul timpului au fost multi meseriasi care au luat bucati din zid, iar pe de alta parte sunt cei care abia asteapta sa se exprime prin grafitti pe zid.

Heinrich Luitpold Himmler – conducătorul SS-ului şi unul dintre cei mai puternici oameni din Germania Nazistă. S-a sinucis pe 23.05.1945 în detenţie britanică.


Rudolf Walter Richard Hess - omul nr. 3 din Reich-ul nr. 3. Până în anul 1941 când s-a hotărât să fugă cu un avion în Scoţia. Britanicii l-au arestat imediat, după război a fost judecat la Nurnberg şi condamnat la închisoare pe viată. S-a sinucis în închisoarea Spandau din Berlinul de Vest, pe 17.08.1987, la vârsta de 93 de ani.

 

Buni sau răi, pe băieţii de mai sus i-au judecat invingătorii de conjunctură.
Însă, pentru obiectivitate rămâne de apreciat faptul că majoritatea dintre ei au fost, până la final, consecvenţi în ceea ce au crezut.

Cartea a fost tradusă şi în limba română şi mi s-a părut bine scrisă şi foarte citibilă.

Una dintre ţepele tustice ale Berlinului este Punctul de Control Charlie.

În afară de faptul că doar pe aici le era permis accesul în Berlinul de Est oficialilor si militarilor puterilor de ocupaţie din Vest, acest punct de trecere nu are nimic ieşit din comun.

Iar Charlie vine de la al treilea punct de trecere, respectiv litera C, conform Alfa, Beta, Charlie, Delta … Yankee, Zulu.

 

Plus evenimentul din octombrie 1961, când americanii şi sovieticii s-au mârâit mai mult de juma de zi ca doi pechinezi isterici, prin ambalarea motoarelor de la tancuri (M48 vs T55).

Inainte de a incepe trebuie sa ii multumesc unui coleg de forum care mi-a atras discret atentia de gresala de ortografie facuta, in sensul ca eram convins ca orasul din vestul Berlinului se numeste Postdam si nu Potsdam.
Indicatorul din gara, scris cu litere de juma' de metru n-a fost suficient pentru a intelege denumirea corecta.

Pana aici am ajuns cu S-Bahn-ul S7, cursa directa [vreo ora] de unde stateam in estul Berlinului.


Chiar de pe peronul garii am inchiriat doua biciclete.

Le-am inchiriat pe la ora 13:30 si dupa cum rezulta din poza de mai sus, tariful redus de 9 Euro in loc de 11 Euro se aplica dupa ora 14:00.
Insa neamtu', baiat bun ne-a aplicat direct tariful redus.
Pe langa bani, mi-a cerut doar buletinul din care a luat CNP-ul si l-a scris pe fisa de inchiriere, o juma de A4 autocopianta, el pastrand originalul.
Tot pe foaia asta mi-a scris si codul de 4 cifre de la lantul antifurt pe care ni l-a dat, fara niciun cost suplimentar, odata cu bicicletele.
Singura conditie a fost sa aducem bicicletele pana la ora 19:00.

La marginea Potsdamului, peste râul Havel se află podul Glienicke, pod care marca graniţa dintre Berlinul de Vest şi teritoriul RDG-ului.

În plus, podul Glienicke a fost singurul punct de trecere controlat doar de către sovietici. Restul punctelor de trecere, indiferent că erau în interiorul Berlinul sau între Berlinul de Vest şi RDG, erau controlate de către est germani.

Per total bicicleta a mers foarte bine, se vedea ca cineva avea grija de ea.


In gara la Potsdam am gasit un fel de fast-food asiatic, tailandez daca nu ma insel.
Mancarea am luat-o mai mult la ghici, aleasa prin semne dintr-o poza de deasupa casei de marcat.
Nu stiu exact ce-am mancat, pare carne de rata cu orez. In rest n-am reusit sa identific ce mi-au pus tailandezii in farfurie. Oricum a fost buna mancarea.
