Superbă introducere (încă aud sunetul modemului de 36 kbps care încerca să se conecteze folosind linia telefonică analogică...întotdeauna înainte de ora 10 seara!..)!

Foarte faină ideea și povestea, așa că mă bag și eu pe lista celor ce abia așteaptă continuarea :)

Foarte simpatica ideea, numai ca am impresia ca anul din titlu e gresit scris 2012. Din text inteleg ca vorbim de 2002.

Frumoasa povestea, si nu poci sa nu remarc faptul că un film de 35 mm, avand dăcât 36 de cadre, pozele sunt putine.

Acum pozăm in rafală când saltă catelu' picioru' la pom.

Parca asta era o metoda de "furat startul" in sensul ca atunci Romtelecom [singurul furnizor de telefonie fixa] avea tarife diferentiate iar dupa ora 10 seara pretul scadea bine.

Adica toata lumea astepta ora 10 seara, se aglomera situatia si cam oha conectare.

Imi suna cunoscut X-NET, insa nu mai tin minte daca aici ma conectam.

Stiu ca o perioada am avut abonament anual la un furnizor de Internet [FX, daca nu ma insel] insa si aici treaba mergea cam greu.

Foarte tare filmul cu sunetul de la dial-up.

X-NET era serviciul de date al Conexului. Era gratuit pentru abonatii Conex. Plăteai doar linia Romtelecom. De-aia se imbulzea lumea.

Faina ideea!
Eu am mers pt prima data cu bicicleta pe Transfagarasan in 2007 cred... din pacate nu mai am poze sau nu cred ca mai am poze de atunci (trebuie sa verific)
Am cules informatii de aici si am plecat cu un amic la drum!
De atunci m-am indragostit irevocabil si l-am parcurs de mai multe ori. Merg cam de 4 ori pe an de la Arefu la Sibiu,
Si iarna pe skiuri de tura de la Capra!
Din pacate experienta asta nu o mai poti repeta dar cu siguranta mai sunt lucruri care trebuiesc facute acum si peste 14 ani vor fi la fel de frumoase ca povestirea ta!

Probabil e vreo iluzie optica in poza. Roata spate este de 26''.

Referitor la televizarea marilor tururi din 2002, presupun ca intrebarea se referea la televizarea in RO a acelor tururi.

Da, erau televizate in RO, ca si acum, pe Eurosport 1 [in limba romana] comentate de Radu Naum si Radu Banciu. In anul 2000 am inceput sa ma uit serios la ciclism, insa tin minte ca era televizate in RO si inainte de anul 2000.

Desi pentru unii pare ciudat, Radu Banciu, cel care face acum o circoteca politica ieftina, a fost odata comentator sportiv.

Niste colegi de pe alt forum imi spun ca ei aveau [unul chiar din 1997 la Oradea] si imi pare cam greu de crezut. Insa poate ma insel eu.

In 1994 ieseam prima data din tara. Mergeam la un curs la Praga, platit de Soros (Deh, alte vremuri.)

In una din zile am mers sa vizitez un castel prin Cehia. La vremea aia, biletele se eliberau in maniera electronica.

Alta lume.

Noi inca nu avem trenuri igienizate.

Ma uitam ca prostu' si nu pricepeam pe unde merge drumul. Credeam ca drumul continua pe podul de jos apoi ajunge la podurile de sus. 
Atunci nu stiam ca podul de jos face parte din drumul, inchis circulatie publice, care merge spre baza barajului Vidraru.

In caz de nevoie, cineva este pregatit oricand sa te ajute, pe bani. In 2002 nu se punea problema de asa ceva.

Am continuat alergare pe asfalt, pe malul drept al lacului Vidraru.
Se pare ca zona lacului Vidraru este freceventata de ursi, pentru ca am vazut multe afise precum cel de mai jos. Urs insa n-am vazut.

La un moment dat, m-am intersectat cu un grup de 3 cicloturisti [doi barbati si o femeie] foarte bine echipati, care mergeau spre Curtea de Arges.
I-am salut cu "Hai noroc". Gagica, cea mai comunicativa dintre ei, mi-a raspuns cu "Hello".
Auzind rapsunul, dupa logica mea am crezut ca sunt straini, asa ca am continuat conversatia cu "Where are you from?".
Raspunsul a fost "Targu Mures", dupa care am continuat conversatia in limba romana.

@gibonu: plusurile nu sunt suficiente pentru acest topic!

Aproape ca mi-au dat lacrimile retraind si eu, in timp ce citeam, prima mea urcare pe Transfagarasan. 

 

Din pacate, locuind pe vremea aia in Brasov l-am urcat dinspre Sibiu si nu am coborat partea sudica (nu a fost o tura de cicloturism; am luat trenul dus-intors)

Partea sudica am urcat-o mult mai tarziu (in 2005 cand m-am mutat in Bucuresti), din pacate nu pe bicicleta dar, din fericire, tot pe doua roti.

Dar de ce campati pe marginea drumului si nu in Cartisoara unde ai loc sa te retragi de la drum mai mult?
Maine incep sa caut prin poze sa vad daca mai am poze de la prima mea tura pe TF.
Pe cealalta parte a lacului nu a mers nimeni?
