Ce nu pot sa inteleg eu... ! Tot timpul ai ramas fara mancare. Ai mizat de la inceput pe restaurante sau pur si simplu nu ai avut de unde sa te alimentezi din satucele alea prapadite pe unde ai trecut si sa umpli o geanta cu de toate celea..??? ... oricum o tura superba !

Chestia cu aplaudatul mi s-a intamplat si mie, insa unde nu te-ai gandi, pe Transfagarasan, pe ultimele rampe ale fetei nordice. Exista insa si o explicatie, cei care aplaudau erau intr-o coloana de masini de teren cu numere straine. Asta dupa ce toata urcarea fusesem claxonat la greu de masinile locale, desi tineam dreapta... :(

Aplauzele, modul cum isi schimbau comportamentul cand le spuneai ca esti cu bicicleta, nu fac decat sa arate cum e vazut biciclistul in afara (in Vest) si respectul cu care e tratat.

Ma intalneam pe camp in Germania cu cate o masina si desi am fi avut loc suficient sa trecem unul pe langa altul, tragea pe dreapta in noroi, tocmai ca sa nu ma incomodeze. Sau daca ma prindea una de la urma, mergea exasperant in spatele meu si trebuia sa-i fac indelung semn ca sa ma depaseasca.

Nicicum mizeriile pe cere ti le fac unii soferi de la noi. Am evitat pe cat am putut si voi evita in continuare drumurile publice din Romania. Poate voi merge pe ele la pensie, mai devreme nu am speranta intr-o schimbare a mentalitatii si o civilizare a ciobanilor mioritici.

Cum se comporta saua pe care o ai? Vreau sa iau si eu o sea Brooks, am vazut despre modelul tau ceva review-uri care spuneau ca se misca lateral mai mult decat cele cu arcuri doar pe spate. Pe undeva e normal sa se miste, dar se misca mult, e deranjant?

Cea mai iefina cazare a costa 18 euro/noapte cu mic dejun, la Guillestre.

Cea mai scumpa a costa 83 de euro si a inclus: cazare, cina, micul dejun si carafa de vin (0.5 litri) + 2 ape minerale (tot la 0,5l). Baute in compania scotianului.

 

Insa asta nu este foarte important, pentru ca poporul interesat de astfel de ture poate gasi si alte cazari, nu trebuie sa stea neaparat exact unde am stat eu.

Referitor la relatia cicloturism - performanta, ca sa fiu si mai clar:

- imi plac pasurile de altitudine mai mare, pe de o parte, datorita peisajului pe care ti-l ofera, adica gol alpin, serpentine, etc., iar pe de alta parte, datorita coborarii (discutabil la Bonette). Nu pentru diferenta de nivel urcata, cadenta de urcare, clasificarea BIG sau timpul de urcare.

- atunci cand fac traseul ma interseaza ceea ce este de vazut pe acolo, nu kilometri parcursi. Ma uit la nr. de kilomteri doar atunci cand calculez etapele zilnice ca sa ma incadrez in ritmul meu de mers.

 

Fara sa crezi ca fac pe desteptul, dar din ce ai zis tu, turele lungi au devenit "amintiri si raritati" chiar anul asta, cand inca nu esti angajat (din care am inteles eu). Asadar ...

Cand vom fi milionari o sa facem exact ceea ce ne place, cand ne place, fara sa mai depindem de nimeni. Insa pana atunci, mergem la munca.

Fara sa crezi ca folosesc eu vorbe mari, conteaza cat de mult iti doresti un anumit lucru, ca modalitati de realizare exista sau apar pe parcurs.

Cand am inceput sa visez la Stelvio, parea o perspectiva mai mult decat indepartata si cu toate astea, dupa 6 ani de visat am ajuns acolo anul trecut.

Era o vorba care spune ceva de genul "Adevarata infrangere este renuntarea la vis".

Nu tranport niciodata mancare cu mine pe bicicleta. Nu vad rostul.

O ciocolata, maxim doua imi ajung de dimineta pana seara, dovada ca n-am murit de foame pe unde am fost.

Cand am plecat din Guillestre spre Vars mi-a fost lene sa ma intorc 10 min in oras, crezand ca gasesc in Vars.

Ca nu am gasit nu-i nici o problema. A fost mai interesant.

 

Am mai mancat si in carciumi de pe drum si a fost perfect. In plus, parca altfel intra mancarea seara, cand esti infometat. Ca sa nu mai vorbim de spritz-ul de dupa masa.

Exagerezi putin, ca mersul cu bicicleta in RO nu e chiar sport extrem. Pe fraerii care te claxoneaza ii ignori, ca de multe ori doar atat ii duce capul.

Ultima data cand am fost pe Transfagarasan (fata nordica) din vreo 3 masini, inmatriculate in RO, mi s-a aratat semnul de OK.

Era degetul mare, nu cel din mijloc, am vazut bine. Deci se poate si la noi.

Inceputul e bun, doar ca mai dureaza ceva.

Saua se comporta perfect. Spun asta dupa 2 ani de folosire. Am 1,90 inaltime si vreo 110 - 115 kg, in viu. Deci, la curul meu mare, saua asta este perfecta.

 

Oricat ti s-ar parea de ciudat, miscatul in lateral te ajuta. Adica te corecteaza imediat daca nu mergi pe combinatia foaie-pinion adecvata. Ca sa fiu si mai clar, atunci cand mergi aiurea pe combinatia foaie-pinion, incepi sa faci balans lateral, cam cum merge rata.

In rest, nu se misca lateral.

 

Iar arcurile alea isi fac treba, cam filtreaza orice denivelare. Vorbesc de asfalt, pentru ca pe drum forestier m-am dat foarte putin iar pe poteci de munte deloc. Iti recomand cu toata caldura o sa Brooks. Dai un ban, dar merita. Brooks produce o gramada de modele, ai de unde alege.

Heh, nu ma invidia. Zic doar ca hotararea initiala e un aspect foarte important, restul sunt eforturi pentru atingerea scopului :P

Multumesc de sfaturile cu seaua, chiar voiam sa vorbesc cu cineva la calibrul meu care are sea Brooks. Sunt la paritate cu tine, poate chiar un pic mai bengos :rolleyes:

 

Traseele tale mi le salvez in fisiere word (am vazut ca la cateva luni o data forumul se schimba si nu mai gasesti nici un link din urma), iti voi calca pe urme intr-un viitor deocamdata indepartat - nu foarte, sper. Tine-o tot asa, sa avem surse de inspiratie.

Cred ca sti de ghidurile de calatorie Lonely Planet. Cam ceea ce spui tu, dar intr-o forma putin diferita este ideea lor de baza si anume "All you've got to do is decide to go and the hardest part is over. So go."

Ca dupa mintea mea ghidurile astea sunt cele mai tari, e alta poveste. Bafta in proiectele viitoare.

M-am uitat fugivit pe ceea ce mi-ai recomandat, insa din ce am inteles eu sunt harti care se incarca in GPS. Daca exista vreun link unde sa accesezi direct harta, ca pe viamichelin, poate ni-l dai si noua.

Adica o strada principala in lungime de vreo 500 m, intre indicatoarele de intrare si iesire din sat. Din strada principala se mai desprind cateva alei foarte inguste, care nu prea se pot numi stradute.

La prima vedere pare un loc foarte frumos si pitoresc, insa doar pentru o seara, pentru ca efectiv, datorita dimensiunii reduse, nu cred ca ai ce face mai mult pe acolo.

 

In ziua asta mai avea un singur pas de facut, Col de la Couillole (1678 m altitudine), ultimul pas din tura. Avand in vedere altitudinea, am crezut ca va fi simplu, dar nu a fost tocmai asa.

 

Micul dejun a constat intr-o cafea, paine, unt si gem cat puteam manca, plus o stica de cico (suc de portocala, marca No.1, de la Carrefour). Plata cazarii si a micului dejun a fost cash, deoarece in carciuma de la parter era un afis mare, pe care scria ca nu accepta nici un fel de card. Am incarcat bicicleta si am pornit.

 

Imediat se iese din sat si incepe urcarea, destul de lejera, catre Col de la Couillole.

Saint Saveur sur Tinee vazut de sus, ca sa se observa mai bine dimensiunea localitatii.

Dupa scandurile astea, ceea ce am prevazut ca se poate intampla s-a intamplat, adica ciclo-computerul s-a resetat. Asa, dintr-o data, a pornit de la zero, cu exceptia odometrului. Din motivul asta distanta si timpul zilei sunt date cu aproximatie.

Nici asta nu a recunoascut steagul, i-am spus de unde am venit si unde ma duc, insa el mi-a spus ca va trebui sa fac un ocol, pentru ca in Cheile Cianului circulatia ar fi inchisa, deoarece si acolo se monta plasa.

I-am spus ca ajung mai pe seara acolo, insa el a insistat ca tot inchisa va fi circulatia, ca masura de protectie pentru ca montatul de plasa este foarte periculos. Nu prea l-am crezut si am continuat alergarea.

Intrarea in Roubion, un sat mai mic ca Saint Saveur sur Tinee, insa parca mai pitoresc, fiind situat aproximativ in varful unei stanci.

De aici n-a mai fost mult pana in pas, insa destul de plictisitor, deoarece se urca prin padure, fara vreun peisaj spectaculos.

Coborarea pana la Beuil este cam la fel cu cea de pe Bonette, adica linii drepte destul de lungi, fara multe serpentine.

In Beuil nimic spectaculos, am baut doar o cola intr-o benzinarie, dupa care am intrat in Cheile Cianului (daca asa se spune in romana).

Din ce am inteles eu de pe harta, pozele de mai sus sunt Cheile Superioare ale Cianului.

Se iese din chei si dupa o bucata scurta cu serpentine destul de stranse urmeaza Cheile Inferioare ale Cianului.

Nu cred ca mai are rost sa spun ca coborarea prin cheile astea a fost o feerie. Panta destul de abrupta, suficient cat sa prinzi ceva viteza pe un drum foarte virajat. Nu imi doream mai mult.

 

Coborarea asta m-a acaparat cu totul, din motivul asta nu am facut prea multe poze. Pur si simplu nu imi venea sa ma opresc.

 

Dupa ce se iese din cheile inferioare, in 500 m, se intra intr-o soseam mai mare si mai circulata, care duce la Nisa.

Cazarea mea din seara respectiva a fost intr-o casa chiar pe marginea drumului principal, la vreo 300 m de intersectia cu drumul care vine din chei. Noroc ca m-am uitat, ca altfel mergeam inca vreo 3 km pana in Touet sur Var ca sa am de unde sa ma intorc.

 

Faptul ca era doar o singura casa pe marginea drumului mi s-a parut ceva deosebit, chiar mi-a placut ideea.

 

Casa avea si o carciuma cu terasa. Meniul era adus intr-un fel original, adica mi-a adus frantuzoiaca tabla de la usa, cea mare pe care meniu scris cu creta si a sprijinit-o de un stalp din terasa.

Am studiat-o de la vreo 3 m distanta, fiind scrisa cu litere mari si m-am descis, pentru cea mai buna cina din toata tura.

Scoicile alea au fost un deliciu, le-am mancat pe toate si as mai fi mancat daca mai erau.

I-am spus francezului ca nici la Caen in Normandia nu am mancat scoici la fel de bune ca ale lui. El mi-a multumit pentru apreciere si mi-a spus ca scoicile sunt aduse din Bretania sau Normadia, deoarece la Mediterana nu cresc astfel de scoici.

Asa mi-a spus omul. Daca o fi facut misto de mine, asta e.

 

Daca nu ma insel eu, in limbaj elevat se numesc midi, dar cum nu mananc in fiecare zi asemenea delicatese, le-am numit scoici.

Dupa scoici, au urmat doua carafe de vin (una de 500 ml si alta de 250 ml), baute tot cu zambetul pe buze pentru inca o zi reusita.

Toti am auzit de Stelvio, Alpe de Huez si altele asemenea. Dar sunt multe locuri 'obscure' la fel de frumoase, poate chiar mai interesante prin faptul ca nu sunt la fel de populare si de aglomerate. Si cand citesti o poveste din asta ca a gibonului, daca nu pui mana si pe o harta sa-ti faci o idee cat de cat asupra traseului, risti sa ramai doar cu imaginile frumoase si in rest cu o ceata totala. Eu intotdeauna caut pe goagal pamantu locurile pe care le recomanda altii. Asa -si aici- am aflat de Achensee, Kitzbühel, Bonifacio, Salzkammergut, Kühtai si atatea altele. Si odata ghimpele bagat, nu te lasi pana nu ajungi si tu acolo.

Sunt perfect de acord cu LuluMOB, regret ca nu ne-am intalnit nici anul acesta. Sper la anul macar sa ne vedem.

Excelenta descriera si pozele facute de Gibounu. Da, este una dintre cele mai bune threaduri de pe forum.

Imi place ca te-ai rasfatat cum trebuie in tura asta. Ma bucur ca-ti plac scoicile. Stiu un loc la bulgarii unde se gasesc scoici din alea langa tarm pe fundul marii si pot fi culese gratuit.

Cat a costat portia aia de scoici si cat te costa 1 l de vin varsat?

Stiu ca pe mine m-a costat 1l de vin alb si o prajitura 14 euro la o cabana in Alpi.

Nu-i vorba de nicio poluare.

Poate link-urile tale sunt utile pentru cei care folosesc soricarii din astea, gen GPS si bikemap. Am mai spus: eu sunt mai de moda veche, prefer harta clasica, pe hartie atunci cand sunt in tura. 

 

La planificare viamichelin este mai mult decat suficient pentru ce am nevoie.

Touet sur Var - Nisa

Aprox. 50 km – 2 h. si 24 min. timp efectiv de pedalat

 

Micul dejun, la fel ca celelalte: paine, unt, gem + cafea. Deja ma obisnuisem cu asta. Singura problema a fost ca de data asta gemul era din coji de portocale, ceea ce nu prea mi-a placut.

 

Inainte de a pleca am mai stat de vorba cu francezul in fata casei, pe marginea drumului. Frantuzoiaica s-a scuzat ca nu poate sa stea cu noi si a plecat cu masina. Discutia a fost mai mult decat agreabila, atat de agreabila incat la plecare am uitat sa-i las cheia de la camera. Si nici el nu mi-a cerut-o.

 

Abia la o pauza de tigara pe marginea drumului, cand mai aveam vreo 20 km pana la Nisa, am constata ca inca am cheia la mine. Problema s-a rezolvat dupa ce am ajuns in RO, le-am trimis cheia cu posta, intr-un plic cu bule, dar sub forma de colet. A costat 53 de lei, dar nu mai conteaza acum. Le-am promis oamenilor ca le dau cheia inapoi si m-am tinut de cuvant.

 

Indicatorul asta era exact in fata casei in care am dormit.

Deci mai aveam doar 50 de km si tura se termina.

 

Senzatia era destul de ciudata. Pe de o parte imi parea bine ca am reusit sa fac tura, insa pe de alta parte imi parea rau ca se termina.

Era exact aceiasi senzatie pe care am avut-o anul trecut in Bulgaria, intre granita cu Serbia si Vidin, cand pur si simplu imi doream ca drumul sa nu se termine, sa mai dureze putin.

 

In plus, nu aveam nici un fel de graba sa ajung la Nisa. Dupa ce am stat o saptamana prin sate mici, pitoresti si linistite din IT si FR, nu aveam nici un chef de un oras mare, aglomerat si super-turistic.

Asa ca m-am oprit cat mai putut mai des in cei 50 km, pentru tot felul de motiv, inclusiv de doua ori pentru a-mi pune echipamantul de ploaie, pentru cativa stropi. Deja nu mai conta, putea sa ploua torential, pentru ca tura era aproape terminata.

 

Singurul lucru care a intrerup monotonia a fost un tunel, lung de 1.000 m, in care am mers pe trotuar, cu echipamentul de circulat noaptea pe mine.

Ca sa mai trag de timp, inainte de intrarea in Nisa am oprit la un McDonald’s, fara sa imi fie foarte foame sau vreun chef special de fast-food.

Dupa pauza de masa a fost exact cum ma asteptam: aglomeratie din ce in ce mai mare de masini, semafoare, cladiri multe, pe scurt un oras mare de care chiar nu imi era dor.

 

Partea buna a fost ca pe principalele bulevarde din Nisa care merg pe malul marii (Promenade des Anglais si Quai des Etats Unis) exista pista de biciclete, asa ca nu mai trebuie sa mergi printre masini.

 

Primul contact cu Mediterana.

Si cam asa arata o strada din Nisa, unde se observa foarte bine separarea intre benzile de masini, autobuz si bicicleta.

La hostelul la care am stat, nu aveau camera de un singur pat, asa ca francezul de la receptie m-a rugat sa aleg intre 4, 6, sau 8 paturi in camera.

Cu toate astea, desi era un hostel, accesul in camera se facea pe baza de cartela, nu mai exista cheia clasica. Am ales o camera de 4 paturi.

 

Aici a fost putin dezolant, deoarece am stat in camera cu un japonez, care saracu’, pe langa faptul ca era pitic nici nu isi putea folosi picioarele, deplasandus-se intr-un scaun cu rotile. Oricat de ciudat ar parea, ma simteam cam aiurea, deoarece eu veneam dupa o tura cu bicicleta iar el se deplasa in scaunul cu rotile.

 

Dupa ce am facut un dus am iesit la plimbare prin Nisa. Nimic deosebit, decat un oras mare si aglomerat.

 

Desi este pe malul Mediteranei, eu cel putin am gasit doar doua carciumi din care sa se poata vedea mare, restul fiind intr-o zona care se numeste “Vieux Nice”, adica o piata imensa plina de carciumi.

Insa, dupa mintea mea fara nici un farmec atata timp cat nu poti vedea marea.

 

Ciudat mai este faptul ca la Nisa, oras super-turistic, chelnerii de la carciuma pur si simplu nu au rabdare sa vorbeasca cu strainii franceza, ci te abordeaza direct in engleza. La un moment dat a fost o situatie destul de ciudata, deoarece eu vorbeam cu ei in franceza iar ei cu mine in engleza.

Nu sunt eu mare vorbitor de franceza, dar, daca tot eram in Franta am zis sa-mi exersez cunostintele pe care le aveam.

 

Cina din seara asta a fost un colet de miel, o farfurie imensa de cartofi prajiti si o salata. Nici una dintre ele nu a fost ceva deosebit, deci nu le-am fotografiat.

Desertul in schimb a fost bun, un fel de prajitura cu miere si iaurt, ceva similar cu ce mancasem odata in port in Pireu, numai ca prajitura greceasca a fost mult mai buna.

 

Si o sticla de vin, ca tura se terminase, nu mai eram sportiv.

Monte Carlo

 

Micul dejun de data asta a fost variat, adica pe langa paine si gem, mai existau fulgi de porumb si lapte. Nu ma plang, pentru ca la 23 de euro pe noapte, la Nisa, n-ai la ce sa te astepti mai mult.

Bicicleta am lasat-o in curtea hostelului din Nisa, legata de rastelul de biciclete, iar la Monte Carlo am mers cu trenul.

 

De la Nisa la Monte Carlo sunt trenuri dese, un drum costa 3,40 euro iar trenul face cam 30 de minute, mergand destul de mult pe sub pamant.

Muzeul asta este interesant, este de vazut daca esti pe acolo, dar nu este spectaculos. Acvariul cu care se lauda ei as putea spune ca este modest pe langa cel din Creta. Ca sa nu mai vorbim de acvariile de la Barcelona sau Sydney, pe care nu le-am vazut, dar am inteles ca ar fi tata lor in domeniu.

Aici, la Catedrala din Monte Carlo am aprins o lumanare, in semn de multumire ca tura a reusit, si ca am avut vreme buna. Ca sa mai fie si pentru alte ture.

 

Pentru ca tot am vorbit despre Grace Kelly, inca este prezenta in principat, exista ceva care se numeste “Parcours Princesse Grace”, adica diverse fotografii cu Grace Kelly, in diverse ipostaze, cum ar fi sosirea la Monte Carlo, nunta, prezenta la diverse manifestari.

 

In plus, la toate chioscurile si magazinele de suveniruri exista vederi, carti si postere cu Grace Kelly. Nu stiu daca in continuare este iubita de cei din principat sau pur si simplu imaginea ei inca se vinde bine, stiu in schimb ca a fost o femeie superba.

Cam asta a fost Monte Carlo. Initial eu credeam ca este un loc exclusivist in care traiesc doar oamenii extrem de bogati si ca pe strada circula numai Ferrari-uri. Chiar ma gandeam sa-mi iau doua Snikers-uri cu mine sa nu mor de foame pe acolo, insa dupa ce am vazut ca exista si McDonald’s la Monte Carlo, m-am linisit.

 

Este un oras de vazut, care in afara de yacht-urile din port pare a fi un oras ca oricare altul, cu oameni obisnuiti si masini obisnuite pe strada. Plus  magazine alimentare obisnuite.

 

M-am uitat si la meniul din mai multe carciumi. Mai scump ca la Nisa, dar nu cu mult. Era ca 15-20 de euro un fel de mancare.

Am intrat in alt tunel, m-am plicitist de cat am mers prin el si intr-un final am ajuns in gara. Mi-am luat bilet de la automatul de bilete si inapoi la Nisa.

 

Prin zona garii din Nisa, nu prea frumoasa (ca in multe alte orase) era un hotel din reteaua Best Western, cu un afis imes in geam, pe care scria ca au reduceri substantiale de pret, adica o camera single costa 123 de euro pe noapte.

 

M-am mai plimbat putin prin oras, am mai cascat gura pe la magazile de suveniruri, dupa care am fost la carciuma unde mancasem si cu o seara inainte.

De data asta am mancat o pizza. Buna,  insa salata de langa ea a fost si mai buna.

Ca francezii mi-au spus ca e branza naturala de capra nu mai conteaza, pentru ca oricum nu i-am crezut.  La cum arata branza aia, se vedea clar ca e din caserola de la Carrefour. Buruienile alea verzi nu stiu ce sunt, insa chiar au fost foarte bune, la fel si prajitura cu iaurt si miere.

 

Cu burta plina, am mai baut o sticla de vin dupa care, am travesat strada si am mai stat vreo juma de ora in fund, pe malul marii. Nu pot sa spun ca am stat pe plaja, ca noi suntem obisnuiti ca plaja are nisip, iar la Nisa sunt numai pietre, fara gram de nisip.
